Coronavirus in India:Corona's havoc reduced today, 69921 new cases were reported in the last 24hours

According to the data updated on Tuesday morning by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the death toll has increased to 65,288 with 819 deaths in the last 24 hours. Infection cases have increased to 36,91,167 in the country, of which 7,85,996 people are undergoing treatment and 28,39,883 people have recovered from the disease after treatment.


Foreign citizens are also involved in total cases of infection. According to the Health Ministry data, the recovery rate of patients has increased to 76.94 percent, while the death rate has come down to 1.77 percent. At the same time, 21.29 percent patients are undergoing treatment.


More than 1.5 lakh samples were tested in the last 24 hours

According to data released by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 4,33,24,834 samples were tested across the country as of 31 August, of which 10,16,920 samples were tested in one day.

A total of 819 people have died in the last 24 hours, of which 184 were highest in Maharashtra. 113 deaths were reported in Karnataka, 91 in Tamil Nadu, 85 in Andhra Pradesh, 63 in Uttar Pradesh, 52 in West Bengal, 49 in Punjab, 20 in Madhya Pradesh, 18 in Delhi, 14 in Gujarat, 13 in Rajasthan, 12.
