Maharashtra: Pune is suffering heavy losses from COVID, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar takes over

Pune: Coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in Pune, Maharashtra. In view of this, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar has been camping in Pune for the last three days. He is discussing ways to control the corona virus with district administration and health officials as well as party workers. Cases of COVID-19 infection have increased alarmingly in the last 72 hours in Pune district. More than 4,000 new cases have been registered on Saturday.
Pawar told officials that he was concerned about wearing masks in public places or following social distance. He said that to control the corona virus it is necessary that the citizens of the city cooperate with the government.

Ambulances equipped with oxygen and other facilities should be available on time," Pawar said. Pawar has advised that government properties can be used as isolation centers when needed.
Union Minister Prakash Javadekar and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar also visited the city on Saturday and reviewed the measures being taken by the government. Prakash Javadekar was born in Pune. People feel that these things are no longer necessary, but they are definitely necessary."
Pune district is now the most affected in Maharashtra. The Union Health Ministry said on Saturday that Pune is one of the 11 districts in the state where there are more cases of corona.
Maharashtra is still the most affected by the corona virus in the country. There have been around 9 lakh cases of corona virus in the state. At the same time, more than 26000 people have died due to the virus. There are about 2.21 lakh active cases in Maharashtra.
