Raghuvansh Prasad Singh dies at age 74 in AIIMS.



Former Union Minister and senior Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh died at the AIIMS Hospital in Delhi on Sunday at the age of 74.


Two days ago, he wrote a letter and sent his resignation from the party to Lalu Prasad Yadav. Lalu Prasad had also written a letter in response to this letter and said that Raghuvansh Babu would not go anywhere outside the RJD.


His health deteriorated at around 12 o'clock on the night of 11 September and he was then put on ventilator.


In June, he was infected with Corona. Although he recovered from Corona, in early September, he began to have several problems. He was admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi for the last one week.


Raghuvansh Prasad Singh wrote his letter from AIIMS bed in Delhi and sent his resignation. But party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, rejecting his resignation, wrote that 'you are not going anywhere'.

On the death of Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, Lalu Yadav has tweeted, "Dear Raghuvansh Babu! What did you do to me? I said a day ago, you are not going anywhere. But you have gone so far. I kept quiet . " Sad for you


Tejashwi Yadav, the RJD leader and younger son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, wrote in a tweet in his tribute, "I regret the tragic demise of our guardian forerunner, the venerable Mr. Raghuvansh Babu, the strong pillar of the RJD.Your lack will always eat RJD and country.


Identity of Raghuvansh Prasad Singh

Raghuvansh Prasad Singh was the Minister of Rural Development in UPA 1 and is considered the real creator of MNREGA law. In India, this law giving employment to the unemployed 100 days a year was considered historic. It is said that when UPA 2 won again in 2009, MNREGA played a key role in it.


Raghuvansh Prasad Singh was also known for his simplicity and village style. He did not shy away from RJD and Lalu Prasad Yadav even in difficult times. On the other hand, after the RJD's defeat in the 2005 Bihar assembly elections, many senior RJD leaders chose Nitish Kumar. Leaders like Shivanand Tiwari and Shyam Rajak also left with Nitish Kumar.
