The application for bail submitted by Rii's lawyer Satish Manashinde indicated that at the time of his arrest (NCB) the complainant was forced to confess. The actress formally withdraws all such confessions. The petition described Riya's arrest as 'improper' and said that 'the arrest has been made without any reason'.
Riya also said that "drugs have been found, but not in such quantities, and bail can be paid for such crimes." He has also stated that 'when the NCB officers were questioning him for an hour, he did not receive any legal aid nor were any female officers present there'.
The Narcotics Department NCB has so far made a total of 10 arrests for drug angle in the Sushant Singh case investigation, including Karan Arora, K Abbas, Zaid, Basit Parihar, Shovik chakravarthi, Sameer Miranda, Kaizan Ibrahim, Deepesh Sawant, Anuj and Anuj.
